Fèis Spè 2020
This year Fèis Spè's annual Fèis week will mainly take place online using Zoom. This is a FREE event.
Participants will have the opportunity to participate in the usual variety of classes, Fèis Bheag and adult workshops will also be on offer.
Classes are running Monday to Friday.
Fèis Bheag:
Classes will be held 12th to 16th October from 10.20am to 11.10am
Enjoy a fun morning with Sandra and Carrie; songs, games, stories, making, challenges and a bit of Gaelic from 10.20am to 10.50am at which point you will be joined by the older participants for some more fun and the Fèis Song

Fiddle with Charlie McKerron

Keyboard with Hamish Napier
Clarsach with Gillian Fleetwood
Step-dance with Sophie Stephenson
Gaelic song with Sandra MacKay
Percussion with Dave Martin
Tin whistle with Angus Binnie
Please contact if you are local and need a tin whistle to participate, we can provide you with a one. Cost £5.
Classes will take place between 10 am and 12 each day and the timetable will be as follows:
10am till 10.45am - First class in one of your chosen instruments
10.50am till 11.10am - a joining of all classes for this year’s welcome, a bit of chitchat, the Fèis Song and a challenge.
11.15am till 12pm - Second class in one of your chosen instruments

Classes from 2pm to 2.45pm and Fiddle classes at the earlier time of 12.15 - 1pm
*This is a FREE event, however DONATIONS are very welcome.
Fèis Spè is a Charity which has been providing access to tuition and performance opportunities in traditional music and Gaelic for young people throughout the Cairngorms National Park since 1990 and provides work for top quality musicians to teach and pass on their skills. We rely on fees, donations and funding.
